The Packing Plate 50 can save valuable handling time. The packing robot can fill up to five cartons with the correct number of pieces without intervention in the interim by the operator. It is controlled either directly by the attached Hans von der Heyde cutting system, by an external signal generator or on request, independently using a light barrier as a counter. After the programmed number of pieces for a packaging unit has been reached, the intermediate buffer closes and the circular table is pneumatically moved one position forward. As soon as the next box is in position, the intermediate buffer opens again and the filling process continued. This saving of valuable operator time makes this packaging aid, with its simple engineering and slender design, a cost-effective enhancement for material trimming up to 50 mm.
